MAGNETIC POETRY’S NEW PAPER ARTS LINE

IDEALLY SUITED FOR CREATIVITY, EXPRESSION AND BEYOND

RETAILERS RUSH TO MEET DEMAND

MINNEAPOLIS, (April 15, 2005) – In early 2004, Magnetic Poetry began receiving calls from numerous scrapbook enthusiasts and publications who had found new ways to use the company’s poetry beads.  Company officials were pleasantly surprised that its signature word magnets and Poetry Beads made great additions to scrapbook pages. As more calls came in, Magnetic Poetry decided to help these new fans feed their desire for creative scrapbooking ideas by creating new products dedicated to expression.

Originally known for making refrigerator poets out of millions of people, Magnetic Poetry is swiftly rising in popularity among scrapbooking circles across the country with Word Stamp Kits, Letter Stamp Kits and Word Stickers. Some stores are now finding it hard to keep these new products on their shelves.

“The reaction has been simply amazing,” said Carla Boldon, owner of Pretty Paper in Minneapolis. “I merchandised the Word Stamp Kits near the register. I sold 10 kits the first week, then 30 kits the next week,” she said. Now she’s become somewhat of a regular fixture at Magnetic Poetry, driving the 30 or so minutes to their offices to pick up her emergency refill orders.

Boldon’s customers aren’t alone in their love of the product. The Rubber Stamper Magazine called Magnetic Poetry’s Word Stamp Kits a “best buy” in its January/February 2005 issue. The product also graced the pages of Legacy Magazine in its April/May 2005 issue as a “Recommended product for scrapbooking, journaling and other family history art.”

“Magnetic Poetry is all about creative expression,” said Dave Kapell, company founder. “We continue to receive great feedback from customers who love using our kits in their scrapbooks.”
